Assessments in Telepractice
This course will give you the tools you need to conduct assessments via telepractice with confidence
In my 10+ years as a telepractice SLP, I have probably conducted over a hundred assessments online. When I first started, the only options were paper-based assessments, including stimulus books, record forms, and scoring manuals. Now, there are digital options that make delivering assessments via telepractice much easier for the telepractice SLP.
Have you been providing intervention via telepractice but don't know how to conduct assessments? Or are you new to telepractice and want to learn what assessment tools are available? This course will teach you all that you need to know to start conducting assessments via telepractice with confidence. Course topics include:
1. Review of research on conducting assessments via telepractice
2. Technical requirements to conduct online assessments
3. Administering paper-based assessments via telepractice
4. Administering digital assessments via telepractice
5. Special considerations for client and clinician
If you need someone to guide you in conducting your first
assessments via telepractice, this is the course for you!
